Domestic Landscape Design.

For domestic landscaping we like to work with the owner and create a landscape plan. A simple approach where the owner gets a copy of their house plan down view and using a few colored textures they mark out the hardscape area or fixed features. These are areas that are not easily changeable or areas you are wanting to build such as, buildings, pool, driveway, paths, steps, retaining walls, large trees, garden beds, lawn areas, garden features like ponds or ornaments, paving and irrigated garden beds (irrigation piping needs to be installed below some hardscape).

This can be e-mailed through to us to evaluate prior to an onsite visit. When onsite we will measure the areas, talk you through the logistics of construction and material choices then submit a quote for the works.

Once the quote is accepted the basic layout or the “bones” of your landscape plan is in place then the softscape selection begins trees, shrubs, plants and ground covers. This creates the style of your garden and color scheme of planting such as a contemporary garden, native garden, cottage garden etc. A local nursery owner/horticulturist will visit with you once the hardscape garden beds are in place, talk through plants and selections and provide a list of suitable plants for your garden and their location. You can then purchase these separately or have the cost of the plants removed you’re your plant allowance within your quote.

We provide ongoing maintenance in both hardscape and softscape maintenance packages.
